Austenitic Stainless Steels, like St St 304, and especially St St 316, having high content of Nickel and Chrome, are considered relatively easy for electropolishing, thanks to good chemical “cooperation” between components of these alloys and anode treatment electrolytes.
Martensitic Stainless Steels, and especially hardened steels containing amount of metalloid which cannot be neglected, are “hard nuts to crack” for Electropolish, as well as for Passivation, and need special approach both in course of the process development, and during current production.
Finish Line is well experienced in long time supply of its Passivation, Bright Passivation, Electropolish and Etching service to customers, for a wide range of items, from Electro-polish of tens per day of 12 kg 300 mm St St 316 precisious valve for water treatment 026, to Bright Passivation of tens thousands per day of 50 gr 20 mm St St 420 connecting accessories (view image). While supplying Anode Treatment services for Stainless Steel parts, Finish Line ensures high performance of surface qualities as demanded by appropriate Standards. Besides, we provide solutions for specific customers’ tasks, like microns toleransed diameter control for dental drills, edge sharpening for medical tube probe, high degree reflection for fire sensor 030, etc. For such purposes focused researches has been planned and carried out.
