Finish Line took part, as a specialty subcontractor, in development and practical realization of Anode Treatment Processes for number of cardiac device projects run by Medical Companies for cardiac and blood-vessels surgery, as exampled below:
Electropolishing of coronary stents (view pic.) made from Bio-Dur, a special alloy for medical purposes: development of an electropolishing process, which simultaneously beneficiates the stents’ surface and reduces in very controlled way the stent’s wire diameter (with accuracy of lonely microns); the Process was developed and operated for long-term pilot needs of a big R&D Company;
Electropolishing of various parts made of CoCr Alloys , Stainless Steel and Nitinol, like angioplastical stents (view pic.), percutaneous surgery part (view pic.), and other newly devices for cardiac and blood surgery: serving research projects of start-up companies, from choosing and adjusting of an appropriate electro-polishing procedure, to active participation in research efforts to achieve aimed properties of the part through electroplishing treatment.
