Though probably the most debated in the dental implants’ literature, the surface quality characteristics of dental implants have no numerical expression, which would allow to rate the quality of a specific implant, or the value of a particular process for surface formation.
Nevertheless, Finish Line undertakes to provide to its customers the surface performances of dental implants on the highly acceptable rank, comparable to that of leading world companies:
• matured surface topography,
• clean, foreign matters free, not contaminated surface,
• developed surface roughness,
• well wettability.
For quality qualification, we use advanced scientific instruments, like:
• Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) for surface topography,
• Energy Distribution Spectrum (EDS) for surface chemistry and contaminations,
• X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS), for surface chemistry and contaminations,
• Optical Profilometry and Atomic Force Microscope (AFM) for surface roughness,
• Force Measuring Tensiometer for wettability,
