Etching is widely used for surface treatment of dental implants in at least two modifications aimed for various tasks:
• Removing of blasting leftovers to ensure clear non-contaminated surface of implants, which is an obligatory condition for the implants’ biocompitability and their successful osteointegration,
• Completing the formation of structured cratered surface through uneven electro-chemical dissolution of metal surface of the implant.
Finish Line has developed and operates number of etching procedures for removing of blasting leftovers and simultaneous beneficiation of dental implants’ surface, as essential part of its CST™ processing, to provide Customers with dental implants meeting quality requirements, at capacity of thousands units per week.
Finish Line developed as well acid etching procedures capable to essentially improve the dental implant surface topography after previous blasting, or even to create well-developed surface structure directly after machining.
